When I look at this picture, I see kids from places all around the world coming together to celebrate Shabbat. This is probably the frist Shabbat for many of these children.

Hey! This is Kianna and Lindsay! We think this picture is really cute because it shows that kids are happy to celebrate Shabbat. An Etheopian boy is helping lead and its probably his first time celebrating Shabbat. The little girl, who is saying a prayer, is from America. So the two children leading together indicates the unity of israelis, americans, and etheopians. We think it shows us that on Shabbat, everyone comes together and is happy.

I think this shows how the sorrow and hatred in this person's land was overseen. It shows how she learned to overcome her fears and difficulties, and simply celebrate shabbat. This requires courage and confidence. Those are two very important qualities in life.
I think this picture is very powerful and shows how Jews of all nationalities come together with the common love of Judaism. Children are the future of Judaism and here you see them getting their first expierences with Shabbat in Israel.

In this picture, I see two children celebrating Shabbat, and learning how to keep it. The little girl seems to b farmiliar with Kabbalat Shabbat. The boy seems to be "unaquainted" with the service and is looking at the girl to gather information. I think these two kids are also bonding, because I believe people bond through prayer.
I think this picture shows a lot about the Jewish community in Israel. Everybody comes from different places but they all are together for Shabbat. This is probably their first Shabbat maybe ever and they get to spend it with children from all over the world.

This picture is significant because it shows how Judiasim brings different cultures together.
Lital, I think I am your partner. Maybe Liat is too? Okay this picture is pretty incredible. The fact that an American girl and and Ethipian boy can pray together is amazing. It shows unity and diversity.
This is a very symbolic picture. It shows how people,no matter how different they are, can still get along together. It is very symbolic because of the setting of Shabbat. I think Shabbat can show the peace between people and races which is showed by the two different colored children.
This picture is a prominent symbol of overruling racial integration. It brings ectstasy to my heart. It is wonderful that all Jews can celebrate together.
By the color of the boy's skin, he is obviously Ethiopian. It shows that no matter where you are from, you can still celebrate Shabbat, and it shows that no matter who you are, you can still come together with everyone else.

I think this is a very good picture. It shows a boy and a girl that come from different places and are different come together to celebrate Shabbat. I think one of the goals of Shabbat is to bring everyone together like a family. This picture also shows how in Israel everyone is equal and have the right to do the same things.

In this picture there are many children most likely from Ethiopia and other countries and they are celebrating shabbat. I find it good that they can do all of this at such a young age and all together. It is nice.

in this picture i can see a African boy and a girl who lit shabat candels. it is simbols the connection between small children to the jewish religion. Like she said- This picture showas the diversity of Israel and how they are willing to except everyone.
You can see a boy and a girl from different culture (American girl and an Ethopian boy) that are doing together a Kiddush and they seems so happy to do it.
Also, You can see that they don't care that they are so different from each other.

I agree with you. It does show what Israel stands for, because anybody is allowed to have a Shabbat dinner if they want to.
I think that picture show the common thing that all of us as Jews have: the love for our religion and our customs, if we are Russian, Ethiopian or another ethnic origin. I can tell that I as a child had a lot of Kablat Sabbath ceremonies in my nursery school, and those left me sweet memories of a Jewish childhood.

It's pretty nice because it is so true, the difference between people around the world doesn't mean we can't celebrate together.
